NFL Week 2 Predictions

NFLAfter an extremely interesting first week in the NFL, showcasing some really good teams and some really terrible ones, there are a handful of promising match-ups for week two. The best games of the week at this point seem to be Philly at Dallas on Monday, New England at the Jets, Buffalo at Jacksonville and AFC-slayers Chicago and Carolina playing in Charlotte. Here’s who I like to win, with no consideration to the spreads given:

Tennessee @ Cincinnati – Bengals
Oakland @ Kansas City – Chiefs
Buffalo @ Jacksonville – Jaguars
Indianapolis @ Minnesota – Vikings
Green Bay @ Detroit – Packers
Chicago @ Carolina – Bears
New Orleans @ Washington – Saints
New York Giants @ St. Louis – Giants
Atlanta @ Tampa Bay – Buccaneers
San Francisco @ Seattle – Seahawks
New England @ New York Jets – Patriots
Miami @ Arizona – Cardinals
San Diego @ Denver – Chargers
Baltimore @ Houston – Ravens
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland – Steelers

Philadelphia @ Dallas – Cowboys

For week one I actually did pretty well getting twelve of the sixteen games right, missing only on Indianapolis, San Diego, Jacksonville and Seattle, four games I think a lot of folks missed.

I agree with ever pick except I’d say Tennessee beats Cincy. They were awful last week and the Titan’s defense was amazing against the Jags. They’ll stop Chris Perry and Carson will screw over my fantasy team by playing like shit and only completing one pass to my fantasy player, Chad Ocho Cinco.

  2. mao says:

Haha, well the only reason I think Cincy is there’s just something weird going on in Tennessee with the Vince Young thing. Obviously he’s hurt and won’t be playing, but Kerry Collins? I don’t know, I can’t see the Bengals ever being as bad as they were last week. Plus it’s their first home game.

  3. Trey says:

Yeah, if you are a Titans fan you’ve got 2 quarterbacks; one’s a drunk and one’s depressed.

    Good times in Nashville.

  4. Brian says:

Yea Ocho Cinco must step up. My picks are almost similar except we obviously disagree on Indy. Dallas-Philly should be a great game. Philly has had Dallas’ number of late.
