Shout Out

While we at the AD Hall often disagree over things like aesthetics, the Heisman, and the viability of having your own duck, each of us appreciates a legitimate athletic feat.

Today, we offer congratulations to Ichiro Suzuki, who just eclipsed the 200-hit mark for the 8th consecutive season, joining “Wee” Willie Keeler as the only player in MLB history to compile such a streak.

While the Mariners are undeniably, irrevocably, approaching-100-losses awful, Ichiro continues to be one of the best hitters in the league.  The veteran (wow — that sounds weird!) has never hit below .300 in his eight seasons; and he’s hit better than .350 three times.

    Carr for Heisman!

Well said though. Over .350 three times is unreal.
